Funeral services for Rose Aymond will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at St. Alphonse Catholic Church in Hessmer with the Rev. Edwin Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Alphonse Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. Mrs. Aymond, 80, of Baton Rouge, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband; Leon Aymond; her parents, Milton E. and Leontine Mayeaux Ducote; and her siblings, Mary, Emily, Dennis, Charles and Percy. Survivors include a brother; James Ducote and his wife Elise of Beuch, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will include; Dennis Ducote, Jr., Charles Ducote, Jr., Lennie Daigrepont, Matthew Daigrepont, Tres White, and Kirk White. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Ruemker and Jason Ruemker. Friends may call from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. Online condolences may be sent to www.hixson-ducote.com.
