How do you say goodbye to a friend?
Wait, “friend” wouldn't be an accurate description because you were so much, much more than that. Not only were you a friend, but a mentor through the questionable times, a shoulder through the sad times, a conspirator through the sneaky times, a confidant through the secret times, a companion through the lonely times, a swift kick in the rear through the stubborn times and most definitely a friend through the happy times.
I'll never forget when we were first introduced. We share the same name and you told me…”Finally, someone who knows how to spell and pronounce it correctly…” I happen to be proud that we share this name, T, and I hope that I can live up to the expectations you set for it!
We have shared many milestones and a few bumps in our road together but I never thought that the Lord would call you home so soon, I guess, I took for granted that you'd always be here. I believe with my whole heart that I will see you again someday and until then I will cherish the memories of all the times we shared. There is a quote that you were fond of saying, “once your heart is given, part of it is taken forever…” I couldn't agree more….so, take care of that piece of my heart until I see you again.
I love and miss you, T, and I'll never, ever forget you…so, I won't say goodbye but see you again!

T, I can't believe you're gone. You were so loved and will be missed. God decided it was time for you to sing with the angels. May your voice be as beautiful as ever and may you rest in His loving peace.
