A resident and native of Baton Rouge, he passed away at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at his home. He was 64 and a retired LSU employee. Visiting at Donaldson Chapel Baptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Tommie N. Gipson, Jr. Interment at Roselawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his son, Jeremy; four sisters, Delores Davis, Yvonne (Able) Jacobs, Houston, TX., Maxine (Albert) Richard and Barbara Williams, Baton Rouge; brothers, Alphonse Williams, Leroy Williams, Vernell (Margie) Williams, Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Alphonse Williams; Rosa Lee Chambers; and special friend, Jackie Harris. Arrangements with A. Hamilton Platinum Funeral Services.
