Tony, Although you and I didn't know each other well at DLS, I want to express my sincrest condolences to you and closely echo Bill Maloney's sentiments i.e., "My dad was 84 when he died in 2005. We must be consoled that they had long, rich and full lives." If you loved your father as much as I did mine, I know that this time is especially difficult for you. Take care my good man. "Aunt Marion" (that's how how know you), Gayle, Tony, Kay and Robin and your entire family, i am so sorry for the loss of "Uncle Cliff ,"( that is how I know him). I pray that God would wrap His arms around all of you and cradle you in love and peace. I will always cherish the Wednesday morning visits in Thibodaux that lasted for a total of 12 years, 6 full time. I still have all of the news paper articles he brought me both political and LSU. I can see Uncle Cliff saying, "Danny, so tell me about the last 11 months. How was it to be pain free and no insulin?" to which Danny would reply, "I don't know!" Joshua1:9 John Thibodaux

It is so hard to lose a parent, and harder to lose a husband... there won't be any more toenails for Robin to cut, and Miss Marie won't be tending to Mr. Cliff... he will always be in your hearts until you meet again. To all those strong Beaulieu women left on this earth, know you are admired and respected and with the help of God will weather this loss, as you have so many before. Praying for all of you to keep you strong... I know Mr. Cliff is in heaven quietly checking it out and greeting old friends and children. With much love and thankful for knowing this wonderful family, we send our sincere regards and prayers.

Yes, Cliff treated everyone as if we were one of his own. You kids, grandkids and great grandkids must feel the blessing of knowing the he loved you so dearly and deeply. His patriotism and support of you all, along with the love of his life Marie, made him a joy to be around. Thanks Robin for sharing him with me. I will always treasure the picture I have of him holding my own, Master Conner. My heart is with you, your mama and the entire family. Wish I could be there to laugh, cry and celebrate the legacy of this wonderful man.
In Jesus you may have Peace, John 16 and your sorrow will turn to Joy...
He is our rock, our refuge and our hope...Psalm 62

Kay and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Cliff was such a fine person and a perfect gentleman. He will be missed by all who knew him. I will always remember "my first Mardi Gras" with you. Your dad made us sandwiches with butter on each slice of bread to keep it fresh and he also made me put his phone number in my pocket just in case I got lost or you and I got separated. He thought of everything. I would have never thought of that...yet he was there taking care of us even when he wasn't with us. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to get to know him. May God Bless all of you during this most difficult time. Love, Janet
