A native and resident of Whitehall, she passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the age of 88. She was a long time and the oldest cook at Val's Marina Restaurant with more than 30 years of service. She loved cooking and lived to cook. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 5pm to 9pm. Visiting will resume at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Maurepas on Monday from 8 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial to follow in Whitehall Community Cemetery. She is survived by her five daughters and their spouses, Margaret Sanchez, Telvina Leader (Bornie), Lillian Budenich (Joe), Grace Connelly (Eddie), and Michele Robinson (Lane); daughter in law, Barbara Dupuy; three sisters, Noemie Milliet, Iris Sprague (Harry) and Sue Ann Matherne; 2 brothers, Norman LeBourgeois, Sr. (Janet) and Homer LeBourgeois (Linda); 11 grandchildren, Robert ""Kookie"" Bell, Phil Leader, Jr., Lynette Bravata, Kris Leader, Troy Budenich, Janie Campbell, Rhonda Pettit, Charles Dupuy, Andrew, Ben and Tiffany Robinson; 8 great grandchildren, Robbie, Nickie, Pollyanna and Renato Bell, Twina Mincks, Aaron Adams, Brandon and Alisha Bravata, Trey Aydell, Jordan Leader and Tyler Budenich; 3 great great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Skyler Bell and Abel Mincks; sisters in law, Evelyn, Onedia, and Betty LeBourgeois; and brothers in law, Pat Dixon; and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clement Joseph Dupuy; parents, Lawrence and Eugenia Vicknair LeBourgeois; son, Lawrence Joseph Dupuy; grandchildren, Lori Bell Childers and Baby Bell; son in law, Virgin V.J. Sanchez; sisters, Ellen LeBourgeois, Ella Mae Anderson and Bessie Dixon; brothers, Nelson, Ellis, Warren, and Alton LeBourgeois and Lacy LeBourgeois Michael; brother-in-law, Alvin Milliet. Pallbearers will be Ben, Andrew, Charles, Robbie, Phil, and Kris. Honorary pallbearer is Troy Budenich.
