I just learned of Carl's passing and want you to know how special he was. I worked with Carl and Phyllis in Ohio. The last time I spoke with Carl was shortly after Phyllis passed. I think we all helped each other out. I tried to show him the ropes of the O&G industry while he was kind and he helped me look for and decide upon a new car while we were all staying in Ohio.
I know he is happy and at peace now, in heaven with Phyllis.

I have not seen Carl for many years- since he resigned as our maintenance super at ENT medical center. But I never forgot him. He was so kind and cheerful & was very giving - he helped my family with small things around the house that what was easy for him would be a endless job for us. I did not know he was sick nor that his wife had passed before him- and I can only imagine how hard that was for him- because he loved her so. I don't think there was one encounter where he did not have something to say about her & how he loved those boys & their sports. I am sure you know what a special person God put in your life & am thankful I was able to have just that little bit of time with him that I did - he was one of a kind

To Carl's children, my husband Wayne Sanders was a 1969
graduate of Glen Oaks high school. He spoke often of Carl, we went to Central to visit him, in the early 90's. My Wayne went to heaven 2/17/10. They are probably sitting up there talking about old times. Carl was a good friend to Wayne, he gave of his time to help Wayne, after his injury, and heart surgery. I will keep y'all in my prayers.
