A lifelong resident of Rosedale, LA, she passed away on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at age 85. She is survived by two daughters, Joycelyn Henderson, Charlene Trusclair and husband Kenneth; four sons, Jackie, Donald, Melvin and wife Charlotte, Raymond Scott-Robertson; a sister, Hazel Scott; a sister-in-law, Georgia Scott; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at A. Wesley's Funeral Home, 10810 Ventress Dr., Maringouin, LA from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Religious service will be on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at Mt. Gideon Baptist Church, 77760 West Oak Lane, Maringouin, LA at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Rod Scott. Interment in the church cemetery. Professional services entrusted to A. Wesley's Funeral Home of Maringouin, LA. 225-625-2383.

She will be truly missed but in our time together she shared much wisdom and knowledge with us. She was a genuine person who gave and was given love.
