ADAMS, ALMA BOURG A retired X-ray technician for Prevost Memorial Hospital, Donaldsonville, she was entrusted to God's care at 10:19 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge, after a brief illness. She was 81, a resident of Donaldsonville and native of Belle Alliance. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6. Mass of Christian Burial at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, Donaldsonville, at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Phil Spano, celebrant. Entombment in Ascension of Our Lord Mausoleum. Survived by a son, Darden "Potchie" Adams, and special daughter-in-law, Dianne Morris Adams; and precious grandchild, Erin Elizabeth Adams, all of Prairieville. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Darden Adams Sr.; parents, Valery and Sedonia LaGrange Bourg; seven brothers, Howard Bourg, Wilbert "Bean" Bourg, Claude Bourg Sr., Ray Bourg, Roy Bourg, Clifton Bourg and Valery Bourg; and two sisters, Mabel Adcock and Louise Gros. The family wishes to express a very special thanks to the staffs of Prevost Memorial Hospital and Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, doctors and nurses, who cared for her, and to Diversified Home Health Agency.
