Frances Accardo Obituary

A resident and native of Hester, La., she died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012. She was 95. Visitation at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Convent, La. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 from 9 a.m. until funeral at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Convent. Survivors include her son, Sammy Accardo, Sr. and wife Cookie; daughter, Janey Accardo Guillot and husband Mervin; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Sam Accardo; parents, George and Caroline Alfano Perniciaro; 5 sisters, Lucy Boudreaux, Mary Carnaggio, Josephine Brack, Margaret Barbair and Rose Noble; 4 brothers, Joseph, Frank, Anthony and Lucien Perniciaro. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court 2080. Arrangements by Rose Lynn Funeral Services, Lutcher.
