Cecilia Olivia D'Arensbourg Domingue, born November 22, 1918, departed from this earthly world on January 15, 2013. She has gone on to her heavenly home where Our Holy Father awaits her presence. Olivia was a devoted and loving wife to Charles Arthur Domingue, Sr. for 37 years. Together they raised a loving family of 15 children: Joseph Carl (Theresa), Marie LeFore (Leonard), Louise Roche' (Lionel), Rita Decuir (Alvin), Theresa Soltis (John), John (Queen), Charles (Mary Alice), Frederick, Arlene Richard (Joseph Guy), Ursula Ricard (Gregory), Hubert (Eartha), Michael, Anthony (Judy), Lozier Ann, Bernadette Purnell "The Baby" (Eric). She was a member of The Third Order of Mary, Catholic Daughters of America and The Legion of Mary. She dearly loved our Blessed Lady and was faithfully devoted to the Holy Rosary. She was a loving grandmother "Granny" to 46 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren. Olivia was preceded in death by her parents, Ovide and Alice D'Arensbourg; her husband, Charles Domingue, Sr.; and her children, Joseph Carl, Marie, Rita, Lozier Ann, John and Frederick. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly, LA at 1 p.m., with Rev. Matthew P. Lorrain officiating. Recitation of the scripture Rosary at 12:45 p.m. Interment in Grace Memorial Cemetery, Plaquemine, LA.
