John LeBlanc was the Principal at Sewells Point Elementary School from 1973 to 1984 and was very much respected and loved by his faculty and staff.
He was a kind, caring, dedicated Principal, man, and friend who always made everyone feel that they were working with him rather than for him.
I will miss Father John, but have many years of wonderful memories of my friend for for consolation.

Uncle Levy will be missed. As the eldest of the Leblanc children he was always looked up to. For his service to our country we will always be grateful. For the love he gave to his family we admire him. We do have many fond memories of his visits to Gonzales, especially the last crab boil we were able to have with him at Grandma Jack's. All our love and sympathy to Aunt Mable, Ricky, Linda & Steve.

Oh how sorry I am to read such sad news about John. He and Mabel lived next to my mom and she just loved them both. John was always so vibrant with a smile on his face for everyone. May God give him peace. May God give the family strength to carry on.
