What wonderful neighbors Mr & Mrs. Sanchez were! So many fond memories of the entire family. Each of the Sanchez children had such an impact on my own children's lives. Mrs. Sanchez was such an inspiration to all of the mothers in our neighborhood. Always calm and refined, and so caring and thoughtful. Heaven has truly gained another angel. Brenda, Debbie and I send our prayers to you all!

Maw-Maw you were an exceptional grandmother and we were blessed to have been loved by you. Although we are deeply saddened by your passing our hearts are rejoicing with God that you have joined him in the kingdom of heaven. I take comfort in knowing that you are with Paw-Paw and Uncle Gary and that we now have you as our guardian angel watching over us. You will forever be in my heart and I know that my strength and courage come from my strong and courageous grandmother. I love you Maw-Maw and may God Bless.

From a son-in-law to his mother-in-law. I could write pages of beautiful words about you; but words seem to fade in time as the sun fades in the western sky. I will just say that the love you gave me will never fade. It will always be bright as the stars in the heavens. You showed me love and you gave me love. I will always love you until God let's us meet in heaven again. Love, Nick

Sometimes in life there are moments that stay with us forever. Maw-maw you are that moment to me. Everything you did for me and our family will forever be apart of me. Your spirit was already something more powerful then this earthly place, it was heavenly. You taught that in life being the best person you can be and putting others before yourself makes for a perfect recipe in life. You taught me that even when times seem tough god and marys love will get me through. You were an inspiration to me and will forever be an eternal light source in my life. I will remember our times together when cooking your amazing recipes, smiling in funny moments we shared, our long talks about you and paw-paw and your love for each other. There are so many more things that make me feel at peace and are helping me through this loss. If ever there was someone who encompassed all of gods most valued traits a loving heart, caring spirit, strength and perseverance to make it through all of life's challenges it was you. I am so lucky and blessed to have a piece of you with me at all times in my heart. I love you forever more.

My precious mother, my forever guiding light. I was truly blessed to have been raised by such a compassionate, loving mother. She always thought of others before herself offering anything and everything she had to help. Her strong faith in God and Mary kept her steady and strong through her own hardships. I once asked her how it is even possible to live on after the loss of one of your children and she said, "It was the will of God". So now mama I will let those words resonate in my heart and hear your sweet voice once again that my loss of you is God's will. Your loving daughter, Janice

We were next-door neighbors in Chalmette for 33 years. The entire Sanchez Family were more like family to us than neighbors. Such a wonderful family. That is accredited to Deanie and Hank. They set the bar very high. It is no wonder that now after Katrina, my husband and I live in Abita Springs. I truly believe that Hank had a lot to do with it.
Our love and prayers will always be with the family. Our hearts are so full at Deanie's joining Hank and Gary.
In my heart I want to celebrate their beautiful lives. There is a family of angels in heaven.
