Passed away on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at age 63. A native of Covington, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, he was a retired harvestor at Simpson Sod Company in Covington, LA. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Savia Marie White; daughters Jamie Lynn White, Tokesha Marie Collins, Yolanda Renee Jones (Jeremy); son, John M. Collins; sisters Marie White, Verma Davis; brother, Emanuel White; grandchildren Keandria, Keronisha, Tyler, Johnequa, John, Chloe, and Belle. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas Sr. and Zena White of Covington, LA; siblings, Bernice White, Rose White Carney, Idella White Spruel, Gertrude White Garrett, Katie White Bedford; son, Clinton Joseph White. Visitation at Deselles Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 13 from 5 - 8 p.m., and on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 8 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
