Lee Clark, 89, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. He was born in De Kalb, MS and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Lee worked as an electrical engineer for IBM for 35 years and he proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Alice Clark; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael L. and Jackie Clark and Murray A. and Nancy Clark; eight grandchildren, Adam Clark and wife Ashley, Alex Clark, Daniel Clark, Benjamin Clark and wife Liz, Sarah Clark, Amanda Clark, Skip Massey, and Ben Massey and wife Hayley; sister, Dorothy Stribling; and brother, Harold Clark and wife Faye. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Reba Clark; and brother, Dan Clark. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 5 pm to 7:30 pm and will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 10 am until funeral service at 11:30 am, conducted by Pastor Merlin Liverman. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer's Serivices of the Capital Area, 3772 N. Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
