Once again our creator has written an ending to another chapter to the book of life. This chapter began with the birth of ""Mother Thelma G. Brock"" on May 8, 1934 to the late Robert Goff and Mary Jane Brasley-Stalling of Magnolia, Miss. ""Mother Thelma G. Brock"" served in her community and she was the mother of her church Cathedral of Faith C.O.G.I.C and to others in many ways. She departed her earthly life at the age of 78 at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center (Mid-City); where she was surrounded by her love ones. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: loving and devoted husband ""Rev. Shelve Brock"" of 62 years, four sons: Lattimore Brock (Joyce), Walter Brock (Marie), Quevester Brock (Gloria) and Christopher Brock; four Daughters: Gwendolyn Calhoun, Mary Brown, Faye Hollins and Zanda Jyles; One God Daughter: Lorriane Letterman all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. three brothers: James ""Pittman"" (Hazel) Stalling and T.J. Stalling both of Houma, Louisiana and Albert B. Stallings of Mc. Comb, Mississippi. 22 grandchildren many she helped raised and one she adopted from birth: Wayland Humphrey; 44 great grandchildren host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Proceeded in death by: Both Parents, Three brothers: Johnnie B. Brumfield, Bennie L. Stalling and Reggie Stalling, two sisters: Lillean Wiltz and Ernestine Stalling and three son-in-laws and one daughter-in-law. Viewing thurs., Nov 15, 2012 from 3p.m.-7p.m. at Miller and Daughter Mortuary, 5905 Hwy. 19, Zachary, La. 70791. Viewing Friday, Nov 16, 2012 from 10a.m. until service at 12 noon at Cathedral of Faith C.O.G.I.C., 3053 Oswego St. BR, La. 70805 conducted by Pastor Gloria Ned. Interment: La. National Cemetery.
