Mr. Elliot "Yot" Roussel, Jr. passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2012 at the age of 67. He was the loving husband of the late Marilyn Roussel. Son of the late Elliot Sr. and Margaret Roussel. He is survived by two brothers, Stanley and Tommy Roussel. As a lifelong native of Belmont, Louisiana, "Yot" enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like being with his friends and neighbors, hunting, fishing, and taking care of his animals. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 2208 Jefferson Highway in Lutcher, on January 2, 2013 from 9:00am to 11:00am. A graveside service will take place at St. Michael's Mausoleum in Convent, Louisiana, following the visitation. Arrangements under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home, Lutcher, LA. We will miss Yot and do already. He was such a soft spoken, big hearted man. I have been knowing him for 40 years and he was always the same. Very good person. So sorry for your lost Stanley and Tommy. Guess he and Camille are up there reminiscing.:-)
