Dear Paula, as you're well aware, Bob was one of the best! He had a great big warm heart, and his laugh filled the room. I enjoyed seeing him at Dart's Global Sales Meetings each year, and when he came to Florida to play golf, he always made a point to stop in the office and say hello.

Paula,
I'm very fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with Bob for so many years, and Pat and I always enjoyed chatting with you at the Sales Meetings. I'm pretty sure Bob and I hold the record for consuming the most home-made conch fritters Jim Baer served on Cups III. Long after everyone else had had their fill, Bob and I made sure not one fritter was left in the pot!
Our deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Paula,
I was so sad to hear the news about Bob - this is such a loss for all of us. I remember how Bob made a special effort to make me feel at home when I moved to New Orleans and did not know anyone there. This was one of Bob's many great qualities -- he was warm and friendly, fun to be with and a true friend. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Paula,
I knew Bob from a professional standpoint having worked with him from time to time at Dart. I remember you and Bob visiting the Mason office after his retirement. There were handshakes and hugs at practically every desk and office he passed. It was a heartfelt outpouring of love and respect for Bob, and moving for me to witness. I extend my sympathy to you, and all of the many friends whose lives Bob touched. Peace be with you.

Paula,
Bob will be missed by many, including myself, because of his easy smile, great sense of humor, and consistent warmth. He was a true gentlemen in every sense of the word. Take comfort in knowing he is now having the greatest round of his life every day.

Sweet Paula,
We are truly going to miss Bob. Please know that you and all of the family are in our prayers. He was one of a kind! The kids still talk about the crawfish boil that you and Bob had for us when we brought them to visit Diamondheaad & New Orleans. As delicious and fun that evening was, I think all the kids really liked riding and driving with Bob in "the golf cart" even bettter.
Special friends, special memories, and very special love for you and Bob.

Dear Paula and family:
We were very saddened to hear about Bob. What a loss of a larger than life man. Bob had such a joy for life and we both have such wonderful memories of him. How can we forget the "New Orleans" hospitality you and Bob showed us. Betty's brother still talks about the peanut butter pie...his first introduction to this southern treat...compliments of Bobby Gonzalez! Our prayers are with you and your family, Paula.

Paula:
From my start with the company, Bob was always friendly and outgoing, even with a "junior man " like me. The many years of the Gonzo Classic, where I was so fortunate to stay at the Chateau de Gonzalez and experience your true Southern hospitality are some of my fondest memories. God bless you and your family in this very difficult time. As always, our prayers are with you.

Dear Paula,
My sincerest condolences to you and your family. I can't help but get a smile on my face every time I think about my interactions with Bob. He was an incredibly positive person who has left an indelible mark on how I view sales as a profession. I have a great deal of appreciation for all that Bob did for the company during his long career with Dart. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Dear Paula,
It was not easy for Lisa and I to learn of Bob' death. It's always hard for me to know the best thing to say at this moment, but I do know that Bob was a great inspiration and mentor for me.
Lisa and I are also thankful for the kindness that you showed us as well. While we don't get the chance to choose family... you were like the sweet aunt and Bob was like the cool uncle.
We always admired the loving relationsip that you and Bob shared. I know you will miss him. And so will I.
Please understand that you and your family are in our thoughts.

Paula,
I know that this is a sad time but it is also a time to rejoice. Bob is no longer suffering and he is in the arms of the Lord.
All of the years and memories that you have will remain with you forever, and I pray that when you are sad you will remember the good times you had.
We did not spend a great deal of time with either your or Bob, but we always came away smiling and enjoying the time that we shared.
Our love and prayers are with you and your family.
May God Bless you all,
Jeanette and Rocky Essick
