A resident of Geismar and formerly of West Grove, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. He was 88 and a native of Crumpler, North Carolina. He was a retired foreman with Lukens Steel Company. He also served his country in the U.S. Army as a Technician 4th grade, Code 5 Sergeant. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Thursday, June 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting will resume at Foulk and Greico Funeral Home, 200 Rosehill Rd., West Grove, Pennsylvania on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m., officiated by Raymond Eggers. Burial to follow in New London Presbyterian Cemetery. He is survived by his four daughters, JoAnn Hullum and husband, Ted, Jena Lee Cavanagh and husband, Steve, Janette Andrews, and Mary Virginia Riley and husband, Russ; grandchildren, Jennifer Hullum, John Novotny, Jr., Jason Andrews, Mikel Novotny, Michele Hernandez and husband, Stephen, David Andrews, Emily Cavanagh, and Justin Cavanagh. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ethel Wyatt. Pallbearers will be John Novotny, Jason Andrews, Mikel Novotny, David Andrews, Justin Cavanagh and Stephen Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of VFW Post 3693. He loved his grandchildren and his roses. He was a 50+ year member of the New London Masonic Lodge #545 and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3693. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in his name to Help Hope Live, Two Radnor Corporate Center, 100 Matsonford Rd., Suite 100, Radnor, PA 19087.
