Wilson J. David, 92, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013. Wilson was native of Lakeland, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a proud WWII Army Veteran of the European and Pacific Theatre. He retired from Ethyl Corporation after 37 years of service and was an avid LSU Tigers fan. Wilson is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Maureen David; two daughters and son-in-law, Pam "Putt" David, Cindy and Noel Hall; sister, Ethel Langlois; grandchildren, Erin, Abby, Damian, Chris, Jan, Dylan, Deidre, Dane, and Nikki; and great-grandchildren, Job, Devin, Anna, Kyle, Kara, Lana, Drake, Shelby, Cole, Will, and Dean. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Marie David; and parents, Eddie and Oquile David. Visitation will be at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George, Baton Rouge, LA 70809, on Thursday, September, 5, 2013 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Pallbearers will be Chris David, Dane and Dylan Mansur, CJ Langlois, Damian Widmer, and Noel Hall. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
