Betty Shipp Browning, 63, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her loving husband, Lynn M. Browning; daughter, Laura Evans and husband Todd; two sons, Lance Browning and wife Lynne and Steven L. Browning and fiancée Jennifer Aucoin; five grandchildren, Paige Browning, Josh Pomares, Jacob Pomares, Anna Browning, Rachel Evans; sister, Mona Ketchum; brothers, Thomas Shipp, Charlie Mac Shipp, Hugh Shipp, Gordon Shipp, and Danny Shipp; mother-in-law, Jane Browning; and sister-in-law, Charlotte Browning Hue; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, William W. and Dolly S. Shipp; four brothers, William, John, Robert, and James Shipp; father-in-law, Merritt Browning; and sister-in-law, Sylvia Polozola. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 12 noon until funeral service at 2 pm, conducted by the Rev. Joe Alain.
