Memories and Condolences
for Brenda Robertson

Not sure what to say?

Even after all this time, it's still impossible to believe that I can't pick up the phone to talk to my dear friend Brenda. I miss our friendship and treasure special memories made at Ft Polk. However, I am appreciative of the fact that I have gotten to know Missy through Facebook, where I enjoy her family pictures. It is easy to see Brenda reflected in the mother that is seen in Missy every day. Brenda lives on and Missy keeps her with us as she duplicates the special nuances of her sweet mother. Chub and Missy - thank you for sharing Brenda with all of us. I continue to miss her and I continue to keep her family in my prayers.

Chub and family,

I just happened across a picture last night which was posted on Facebook by Brenda's sister. I was so shocked and saddened by the horrible news. I am so sorry for you and your family. Please know that you are in my prayers. I already miss her terribly. I can only imagine the loss your family feels. God bless each of you.

I grew up with Brenda in the First Christian Church. You could hear her all over the church whenever she giggled. I returned back to the church and found out about her death the day after she was buried. I'm so sorry that I was not there to share in honoring her life. Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss.

I only just heard about Brenda's passing. I'm in shock. I have known Brenda my entire life--was even a candle lighter in her wedding. I know her dad, Pete, was happy to greet her. May God be with all of the family during this difficult time.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. May god be with each of you in the days to come. I worked with Mrs. Brenda at the Garrison Commanders office for a couple years, she treated me like a son and I will never forget her bright smile. I'm thankful I had the privilege of knowing her.

May God comfort you, her wonderful family whom she loved so dearly. Tears are streaming down my face now as I try to write this. I was so saddened when I saw her beautiful face in the paper this morning. I was blessed to meet Brenda when our hospital unit was activated during Operation Desert Storm. She was my friend at once and we have kept in touch over the years. My prayers go out to you. God Bless and keep you.

As a Lamberth cousin, my memories of Brenda go back to early childhood. Her smile really did light up the room. She was kind and patient with her younger cousin. In later years, she was an example to us all of how to love and care for her family. I thank the Lord for Brenda.
