A retired merchant seaman, he passed away at 4:10 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at Ochsner Hospital. He was 71 and a life long resident of New Orleans. Religious service on Saturday, Dec. 29 at Institute of Divine Meta Physical Research, 1141 Whitney Avenue, Gretna at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Dr. Herbert Jones. He is survived by three sisters, Joann P. Dorsey of Waldorf, Md, Evelyn P. Jones and Gladys P. Jenning both of Montpelier, Va. Wesley Funeral Home of Plaquemine, (225) 687-4221 in charge of arrangements.
