She was a retired and dedicated school teacher, having taught at Livonia High School and Catholic High of Pointe Coupee. She was a lifetime member of the Immaculate Conception Church Parish and sang in the choir for years. She also did volunteer work at the Pointe Coupee General Hospital. she died at her home in Jarreau at 10:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013. Visiting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lakeland, on Thursday, April 11, from 8 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Gregory Daigle, celebrant. Entombment in Chenal Cemetery. Survived by her sister, Joyce G. Major; niece, Carolyn O. Aguillard; nephews, Charles Ray and Gerald St. Romain and Daryl Olinde; and numerous great and grandnieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George Eddie Bueche; parents, Pierre and Eva D. Guidroz; brother, J.P. Guidroz; three sisters, Odile G. St. Romain, Mercedes G. Olinde, Jeanette G. Olinde; and nephew, John M. Olinde, Jr. Special thanks to Hospice of Pointe Coupee and her four wonderful caretakers, Winona Davis, Latanya Johnson, Gail Gremillion and Irene Williams. Today is a sad day for former Livonia High School students. Mrs.Bueche was one of my favorite teachers, she had so much patience with her students. Mrs.Bueche was so gentle and kind to us and made certain we understood what she was teaching.
