Age 59 and a resident of Tickfaw, David passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at his residence. He was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting. David leaves behind his brothers, Carter Ray McDonald, Willis McDonald and Frank McDonald, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding David in death were his parents, Evie Richardson McDonald and Joel Rudolph McDonald; brothers, Eugene, Andrew and Henry McDonald; sisters, Rena Thompson, Addie Penton, Evonne Purvis and Donnis Hoyt. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Woodhaven Baptist Church in Tickfaw on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Mike Baham will officiate the services and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Condolences and other information are available online at www.thompsoncares.com.
