We are thankful for the recent visit with you at Uncle Paul's party. Glad to share a happy occasion with you. We will miss seeing you at the next one. We won't mind that you are sharing all your time with God. Tell everybody up there "Hello for us" and we will see you on the other side.

Sam,

Just the other day I was thinking of the early days, when you'll would visit and we would happily go crabbing in Cameron or let the children hunt for Easter eggs. Your enthusiasm in embracing our Cajun culture made those times even more special. And we embraced yours as Mom made spaghetti for the first time, and we loved it. Thanks for the smiles, the stories, the music, Bella Records, and for recording Dad's accordion music. My girls all loved their Uncle Sam and have never forgotten the games you played with them.

Monique (Dooley), Tony, and Ann, and Taylor, Angel, Paige, and Preslie, my thoughts and prayers remain with you as we grieve together.

I am sure your family in heaven was so happy to receive you Sam, and especially little Samuel Anthony Maddie II.

You will not be forgotten. Rest in Christ's peace until we all meet again with our Lord in heaven.

Uncle Sam, I always enjoyed our conversations. I can't rememeber a time when I didn't laugh when you were around, even when the conversation was about a serious history lesson on Sicilian Culture.

As a kid, I remember pushup pops and snowballs w/ bubble gum at the bottom from your icecream truck! I remember you sitting at a piano working on the keys and Dooley singing. May you play soulful songs and teach angels to see the joy in a good "Blues" tune!

I love you!

I remember the fun we had growing up with Sam. He loved to play games like his version of hide and seek which he called
'Devil in the Dark'. He loved to make us sing, probably one of the reason I sing today in a choir. He encouraged my, brother Ross, in his music. I was glad to see him at Daddy's parrty and the opportunity to spend the last visit with joy and happiness.
He will be missed.. I send my love to all of his family. May he be joined with Aunt Mary in peace, Love, Helen

I miss seeing Deetsy's big smile and open arms for hugs. I always enjoyed seeing him at family get togethers. The latest one was at Uncle Paul's birthday party. I am so happy I got a group picture of all the cousins that were present. Love u Deetsy!
My heart goes out to Dooley and her family and Tony too. Praying for y'all all. God Bless y'all.
