Calvin Paul Firmin 81 a native of Simmesport, LA and a resident of Erwinville, LA. He passed away on Saturday May 3, 2014 at the Butterfly Wing of Baton Rouge Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He was retired after 39 years of service from Copolymer. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Natalie Rabalais Firmin; daughters, Sandra Chutz and husband Charles Ray and Pam Keowen and husband Michael; son, Daniel and wife Anita Firmin; grandchildren, Heather and Chris Devillier, Brittany and Ryan Fabre, Cody and Amber Firmin, Breann Keowen and Alyssa Keowen, Jessica and Chris Jarreau, Jason and Michelle Chutz and Jacob Chutz, great grandchildren Cameron, Carter, Anna Claire Devillier, Ella Grace and Eli Firmin, Brady Fabre, Sophia and Olivia Jarreau. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Firmin; mother, Angelle Kimball Firmin; sisters, Neva Firmin, Mabel "Kiby" Tucker, Hattie Smith, Anna Mae "Pea" Firmin and Lula Mitchell. Visitation will be on Monday May 5, 2014 at Niland Funeral Home 210 West End Dr. New Roads, LA 70760 from 10:00am until funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. Entombment to follow in Chenal Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Cody Firmin, Chris Devillier, Ryan Fabre, Jacob Chutz, Jason Chutz and Chris Jarreau.
