A homemaker and a resident and native of Pierre Part, she died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at her home. She was 69. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part, on Wednesday, Jan. 14, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Religious service at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Clarence Waguespack. Interment in the church cemetery. Survived by her husband, Sidney Joseph Aucoin; five daughters, Anna and husband Frank Sanchez Jr., Plattenville, Darlene and husband Charles Hue, Belinda and husband Alton Rivere, Aimee Hebert, and Karen Aucoin and fiancé Demitrios Hiem, all of Pierre Part; son, Ricky Aucoin and wife Kammie, Pierre Part; three sisters, five brothers, 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Aloisia A. and Godfrey Cavalier; daughter, Melinda Aucoin; sister, Agnes Leonard; and brother, Herman Aucoin.
