Roland A. Millet passed away on Monday November 12, 2012. Beloved husband of Melba Simon Millet. Father of Byron Millet (Drema), Susan Gomila (Bill), Jane Roussel (Kevin) and Alison Ariail (John). Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Leo and Odette Alexander Millet. Brother of Barbara Millet, Carol Vicknair, Gwen Lemonier, Lyle, David and Jean Millet and the late Minnette Montegut, Jacqueline Kern, Leo and Dorothy Millet. Also survived by nieces and nephews. He retired from Shell Oil. Age 91. A native and resident of Garyville, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, LA on Friday November 16, 2012 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by Mass at 12:00 pm. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve, LA. Arrangements by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, LA.
