A native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge, she died of natural causes on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Ochsner Hospital. She was 63, a retired employee of City Parish of EBR and owner of Dunn & Dunn Enterprises. Visiting at Rose Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 from 5 p.m. until service at 7 p.m. conducted by Pastor Danny Donaldson. Dismissal Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survivors include her goddaughter, Anita Coleman (Melvin); son, Allen Brooks, Jr. (Elisha); brother, Stanley Edwards (Joyce) of Chicago; and grandchildren, Jasmine Jennings, Kalurah Brooks and Aisha Tillman. Preceded in death by her husband, James Dunn, Jr.; parents, Louis and Lovie J. Edwards; and in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. James Dunn, Sr.
