Gone from here, but never forgotten. Everyday missed and thought about. Something happened today, something I saw today, something that was said today, all reminded me of you. Good memories, good times, I cherish and keep in my heart. Great faith in God is something you taught me. That great faith and love of God is what brings me peace and keeps me. Gone from here, but never forgotten. We all miss you. Love you Daddy. Terri and Family (Byron, the Boys, and the Boss)

Uncle Nolan will always be remembered in our hearts and minds. Our dear God fearing , loving, caring, family oriented, and knowledgeable man. In essence, one or more words cannot describe this wonderful man that God created and allow others to share Uncle Nolan's presence on earth. Thank you God for giving everyone who was touched by Uncle Nolan in some form or fashion. We are indeed blessed! To Aunt Cookie, children and grandchildren thank you for sharing and we will all continue to pray for you always. We love you all!

During our visits to New Orleans we all remember the same thing about Uncle Nolen. Him sitting in his chair like Pops. He always spoke in French or what we thought French was because of his accent, and his laughter. He was a pleasure to be around. Though not the same we feel your pain.

Although it has been a year, the memories of you are still so clear...hanging outside with you to help with the lawn or work on the cars, repairing things around the house without using instruction manuals, cheering on the Saints, discussing politics, and professing our faith in Jesus. I smile when I think of you with the grandkids...I smile when I think of you spending two weeks with me in Atlanta to take care of Courtland until I could find a suitable babysitter...I smile as I hear the kids say something you would have said...I smile as I see something that reminds me of you...I smile when I cook food that reminds me of your cooking...I smile thinking of you in heaven having the best time of your life.

My fondest memories of my brother-in law were our family visits to New Orleans. Him sitting in the rocker and with each word came a smile and in his presence at that time I felt so special. As I look back I see it wasn't just me he did that for everyone. So beautiful a trait I not only embraced it but adopted and use daily. He is misses and you my family are loved and prayed for EVERY day.

Remembering Honey!
April 12th marked one year since you went to be with the Lord, my one and only love, my husband of 50 years, my Honey. I miss you so much; I still find it hard to believe you not here. On April 12th of 2013, a loving heart stopped beating; a strong voice was silenced. My husband, my honey, Dad, Pah Pah, Grandpa Crockett, a man full of wisdom, a man who walked with God, one who operated in the Spirit realm, went home to be with the Lord.
You were the guardian of our family, a wonderful husband, a loving father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, an excellent head of the household, whose order of things was: God first. You were a soldier, and a concerned citizen but most of all, an awesome man of God. You were a man of prayer and I know you could see Angels. I believe your prayers invoked their presence and the protection of our family.
You were granted a long life yet, we long for one more year, one more week, even one more day!
Even now, our hearts are still heavy and, oh how we miss you; your physical presence, that welcoming voice, that voice of instruction, but we know where you are. We know you are very much alive and that you are happy because you are with Jesus and praising God, and we know we will see him again!
We will never say good-bye. We say, we love you, Honey, so very much, and we will see you on the other side! I love you, I love you, I love you!

Your loving wife,
Croscina (Honey)
