A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Greenwell Springs, she passed away at 3 a.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013. She was 72 and a Head Cook for EBR Food Service Department. Visiting at Star Hill Church on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Pastor Raymond A. Jetson. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. She is survived by her former spouse and best friend, Arthur Antwine; daughters, Jazsmere Bivens and Shalina S. Tolbert; son, Ed Troy (Lenora) Bivens; sisters, Mary E. Paul, Ida Rheams and Betty Williamston; brothers, James F. Williamston, Solomon (Dorothy) A. Williamston and Ronnie Williamston; and grandchildren, Jaqueish Simmons, Jaqsmere Bivens, Devin Simmons and Jaqspere Bivens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Solomon A. Williamston and Hattie Pidgeon Williamston; brother, John Eddie Williamston; and three sisters, Edna W. Scott, Rebecca W. Stewart and Annie Lee Williamston. Pallbearers are Keldrick Gibson, Kentroy Bivens, Christopher Johnson, Ronnie Ellis, Cedric Gibson and Patrick Gibson. A graduate of Cheneyville High School, class of 1960 and a "Star" basketball player. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
