Mrs. Accardo..Hi this is Cindy..I use to date Matt quite a few years back..I was the girl who lived in Louisiana and work at the hospital..I hope you will remember me..You and Mr. Accardo were always so very sweet to me, you both made me feel very welcome in your home..You are a great cook too.. Thank you..I've thought about the both of you often thru the years and always wondered how you were doing..

I was looking over the Internet and ran across Mr. Accardo's passing..This has made me very sad to say..My heart goes out to you and all your family..

My Mother died a few years back also, so I do understand losing someone you love..God bless you through your time of grief..May he give you the comfort you need...

Love to you always,

Cindy

April,

Sorry I missed you but I wanted to tell you I know how much you were loved by your dad. I remember the first time your parents brought you to visit your great aunt who lived next door to us. You were a very tiny baby and Matthew was running around, he was precious! Of course our paths crossed again when I taught you in kindergarten. I'll remember your family in my prayers.

As one who also has lost loved ones, I offer my condolences for your loss. Something I was able to draw encouragement and hope from was the Bible, at Acts 24:15, where it speaks of a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. This is not resurrection to a heavenly life, but it goes along with Psalm 37:11, telling of how the meek will possess the earth. I hope you gain comfort from these scriptures.

April, the hurt in my heart is greater than i could ever describe. Your dad is one of the greatest men i have had in my life. He and your Mama always treated me like one of their own and i will always be grateful to them. He had the best sense of humor and softest heart!! What a combination!! I will never forget how he welcomed in Michael w/open arms and danced w/my mom at our wedding. That meant so much to me and you know why. Michael and I were talking about going to The Bengal for your birthday and playing pool w/your Daddy. How awesome was that!! I love him like a dad and will miss him dearly! Thank you so much for sharing him with me. I love you and God bless you and the family.

Dear Karen and Ronnie, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Tony's death. My Dad and he would swap rubber stamps for flys. That was the good old days. I still have some of them. Dad died in Sept. We miss him so much. But our faith in God and His son Jesus is a promise that we will all be together again. My family will be praying for you and your family during your time of grief. I never met Mr. Accardo but was a great fan of his legacy as a pioneer in southern fly fishing. He and his family are in our thoughts.

I am a cousin. My parents were Philip and Mary Accardo. My dad and grandfather, Joe, and great-grandfather, Arismo Ropollo, ran the Accardo and Ropollo grocery store on Plank Rd. I am "one of the twins". You will be in our prayers. GOD BLESS!

My condolences go to each member of Tony's family on their loss. For those of us who are nothing less than fanatical fly fishermen, he touched our lives, made us better fishermen and better persons. His contributions will live on for generations to come. I will miss his enthusiasm for our sport, and for life in general, taking comfort knowing that today Tony is at a place where it's never a bad day on the water!
