Elizabeth "Bessie" Ann LeBlanc, a longtime resident of Brusly, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 2, 2013. She was 89 years young, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She retired from Cullens Playland in Baton Rouge and was a Breast Cancer survivor. Visiting will be at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 192 Church St., Morganza on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, celebrated by Father Keun-Soo Lee. Interment will follow at St. Ann's Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Susan Carroll Lanier and husband Jon, Vestavia Hills, AL; and Claudia Ann Landry and husband Ricky, St. Francisville; son, Chris David LeBlanc and wife Alice, Brusly; two sisters, Bella Purpera, Morganza and Marian Allement; brother in law, Gladden Norris, both of Baton Rouge; 6 grandchildren, Ryan LeBlanc, Watson, Megan LeBlanc Kinchen, Hammond, Ben LeBlanc, Brandon and Kevin Landry and Joni Lanier-Nabors, all of Brusly; and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Joseph LeBlanc; grandson, Jack Farrell Lanier; parents, Alphonse and Elisca Ramagos; sisters, Jenny Norris, Olivia LeBlanc and Melanie Sicard; brothers, Oliver, Howard, Homer, Wilbert, Clarence, Alphonse, Norris and Nolan Ramagos. Pallbearers will be Ryan and Ben LeBlanc, Brandon and Kevin Landry, Blake Kinchen and Rusty Allement. She was a member of Zippers of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
