A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM for Patricia Ann Cole Ford on Friday, March 2, 2018, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will take place in the church cemetery. Reverend Michael DeBlanc will celebrate the Mass. Visitation will be held in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Friday, March 2, 2018 beginning at 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Ms. Ford, age 65, a resident of Krotz Springs, LA, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at AMG Specialty Hospital-Feliciana in Zachary, LA. Patricia was a devout Catholic and a woman of great faith. She loved making handmade rosaries for the church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed crocheting and loved making afghans, doll clothes, hats and blankets. Patricia will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Johnnie Lee Johnson, Jr. and wife, Rebecca "Becky" of St. Francisville, LA; her daughter, Jeanie Lynn Long and husband, Jack of Lumberton, TX; her sisters, Mary Cole and husband, Richard Criswell of Baton Rouge, LA; Neva Cole Morien of Baton Rouge, LA; Carolyn Wyble Savario and husband, George of Prairieville, LA; her brother-in-law, Leroy Fontenot of Ville Platte, LA and her sister-in-law, Connie Mire Cole of Lawtell, LA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Rebecca, Cole, Christian, Joshua and Presley. She was preceded in death by her father, Eastin Cole; her mother, Virgie Fontenot Wyble; her step-father, Gene Wyble "Poppa Gene"; her brothers, Donald Cole and Patrick Cole; her sister, Versie Cole Fontenot and her niece, Donna Ardoin. LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home, 239 8th Street, Krotz Springs, LA 70750, (337-942-2638) has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
