A native of Morganza, La. and resident of Livonia, La., Lula Mae Solar LeBlanc Pourciau passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 8:10 am at Pointe Coupee General Hospital in New Roads, La., at the age of 91. She was retired from State National Life Insurance Company where she worked as a Salesperson. Her hobbies included playing bourre and going dancing, but her favorite was singing in the church choir. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Jarreau of Livonia, Sylvia Brown and husband Herbert of Livonia, Arlene Marionneaux of Livonia; brother, James Solar of Elgin, Illinois; sisters, Audrey Perci and husband Blaze of Denham Springs, Annette Laird of Springfield; grandchildren, Chris Jarreau (Bobbie Jo), Todd Jarreau (Allison), Melissa Jarreau, Kerry Brown (Amy), Shelly Pickett, Ken Brown (Shannon), Casey Marionneaux (Mikalya), Brett Marionneaux, Ginger Marionneaux and Dana Robin (Chris); thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband of 34 years, Clarence Pourciau Sr.; sons, Clarence Pourciau Jr. and Timmy Pourciau; son-in-law, Willet Jarreau Jr.; second husband of 20 years, Harris LeBlanc Sr.; parents, Charles and Ada Solar; six sisters and brothers. A visitation will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Livonia on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial in the church at 11 am. Interment will follow at St. Frances Cabrini Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Jarreau, Todd Jarreau, Kerry Brown, Ken Brown, Kramer Pickett, Casey Marionneaux, Brett Marionneaux and Clayton Marionneaux. Special thanks to her niece Bonnie Guillory and nephew Ronnie Allen (deceased) for always being there. To Lillie and Cheryl for the attention and care they gave our mother while she was in the nursing home. Also to the staff of Pointe Coupee General Hospital, Pointe Coupee Hospice and Pointe Coupee Health Care.
