ALLEMAN, WALTER FRANCIS A retired commercial fisherman and a resident of Pierre Part, he died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2004, in Donaldsonville. He was 85 and a native of Grosse Tete. Visiting was at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Pierre Part, at 11 a.m. Thursday, celebrated by the Rev. Clarence Waguespack. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by his wife, Elise Landry Alleman; three stepdaughters, Ella Landry, Gonzales, and Rita Richard and Sherry Aucoin, both of Pierre Part; a stepson, Cafray Richard, Pierre Part; a brother, Albert "Red" Alleman, Houston; 12 stepgrandchildren and 21 stepgreat-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Cecile Alleman; two sisters, Delta and Violet Alleman; three brothers, Wilson, Dalbert and Alvin Alleman; a stepson, Jessie Richard; and a stepgrandchild, Michael Richard. He was a member of Landry-Domingue American Legion Post 328 and an avid hunter and fisherman.
