Alvin "Mitt" Butler passed away on November 21, 2012 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Deanna Beaubouef Butler. Father of Michael Butler (Cathy), Bill Butler (Jennifer) and Julie Butler. Grandfather of Ashley and Dylan Butler. Brother of the late Billy Butler. Son of the late Mae Dee Moseley and Bill Butler. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. Visitation was held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 2 PM to 6 PM. Visitation will resume at Hixon-Ducote Funeral Home, 302 St. John Street, Bunkie, LA on Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 9 AM to 10:45 AM. Graveside services will follow for 11 AM in the Bayou Rouge Church Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Bayou Rouge Church Cemetery, P.O. Box 237, Evergreen, LA 71333.
