Carl and I were close childhood friends in Bogalusa sharing adventures, working together pushing ice cream carts all over Bogalusa, and being together every time the First Baptist Church doors were open because our families were always there. My thoughts and prayers go out to Carl's family and friends. Life is so short but we have the Great Hope God has given us through his son, Jesus.

Carl was my uncle for a time and was such a lovely man. I sat next to him at many LSU football games and enjoyed listening to the stories of his "good ol days" in the Tiger band. My condolences & prayers for his family and friends...I know he is in a better place and smiling down on us all.
