I met Jamie through my wife, Lauren, in a musical capacity. JUICE was playing the Sweetwater in Mill Valley, Ca. & we swung by to see them. I liked Jamie right off the bat, and the feeling was mutual. On a trip to New Orleans in 2002, he hooked us up w/ V.I.P treatment for a dinner at Jacques-Imo's. Saw him a lot in the context of JUICE & Jordan. God Bless. Fly on, Brother

We will always be grateful to Jamie for the love he shared with our son Dave & his family; for his great harmonica sounds with Juice; for his culinary generosity with his delicious foods; and for the warmth & sunshine of his smiles whenever we saw him. We are sad that his days were far too few. With love & sympathy to all who mourn his passing and loved him the most.

Jamie is one of the dearest, sweetest people we have ever known, as he and our son, Brad, grew up together. Dee will never forget teaching him how to play the harmonica and he really mastered it! He will be missed by so many.

To know Jamie was to know one of the most genuinely kind and gentle men. While incredibly talented both as a chef and as a musician / singer, his greatest talent to me was his ability to reach people. He always had a hug, a smile and a kind word and somehow instantly made you feel special and loved. What a gift he gave each of us. We will miss him so very much. Many thoughts and prayers for you Kay, Sarah, Josh and Ryan. He loved each of you so very much.

I didn't know Jamie for very long but the few times I hung out with him were memorable in that he was such a nice and pleasant guy to be around, easy to talk to and seemed genuinely sweet and real. He will surely be missed.
