Eugene Wilford Cummings, Jr. passed away at 10:45 PM, Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Carpenter House in Baton Rouge at the age of 76. He was a resident of Greenwell Springs, a retired electrician and was in the Texas National Guard. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Central on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 2:00 PM until a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Susie Cummings; grandchildren, Jeremy Chad Fletcher, Micah Fletcher, Ricki Viator, Christopher Cummings, Joshua Cummings, Brandy Cummings, Timothy and Eric Schang; great-grandchildren, Jamison, Isabelle and William Ford Fletcher, Mikayla Nelson, Madden Cummings, Ashlynn, Taylor and T.J. Schang and Aerabella Romig. Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Wilford Cummings, Sr. and Angela Blanche Jimenez Cummings; son, Mark Cummings; daughter, Karen Viator. Mr. Gene was a wonderful step dad who gave love and support during those important teen years. Milton and I were so sorry to hear that he passed away. Praying that God will comfort each of you with beautiful memories of him in the days ahead.

We will miss our neighbor on chaparral. He put in a gate on our side just to pay us visits.
