Lee Edward Posey passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at his residence. He was 48 years old. He was the son of Willie Lee Posey and the late Maude Nero MckNeely. He was the step son of Albertha Posey. Father of Shamoria Kelly. Brother of Cynthia Ann Griffin, Jacqueline Ann Winding, Rosie Robins McAllister, Carla Posey, Marshall MckNeely, Sr. George Robins, Jr. and Carlos Posey, Sr. He is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Maude Nero MckNeely and 2 brothers Willie James MckNeely and Marlon MckNeely. A Home going celebration service will be held at Rock Zion Baptist Church, 1768 Alabama Avenue, Baker, LA on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:00am. Visitation from 8:30am to 10:00am. Rev. Carlton Thornton-officiating. Interment in Fair Dear Cemetery, Slaughter, LA. Arrangements by Rhodes United Fidelity Funeral Home.
