A native of Geismar and a resident of Lutcher, she died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at Chateau St. James Rehabilitation Center in Lutcher. She was 91. Visiting at Greater Golden Grove B.C., Gramercy, Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 from 11 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. conducted by rev. Ulysses Jarrow. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery in Paulina. Survived by grandchildren, Ronald and Alton Brown, Alanda Adams; step-grandchildren, Carlton and Dianne Dawson; her extended family, Josephine Foster, Rosalee Davis, Mose Brown III, Charley Brown; eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law. brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Mose Brown, Jr.; a son, Irvin Brown; a sister, Doretha Miller; a brother, Henry Miller; and her parents, George Miller and Grace Williams Miller.
