Dear Francis and Matt, No one can know what pain this has caused you. I hope that if you need anything at all, you will call us. Elaina and Casey love their Granny and PaPa so much and so do we.

Brett,

Been looking through old pictures of us. Gonna make a big album for the kids... I hope you are watching down on us from up there! I talk to you a lot! I love you and miss you terribly. I wish we hadn't been as stubborn the last several months and stayed close friends like we were back a year ago... It hurts so bad to know you're Gone and I didn't get to hug you or tell you I love you.... I always wanted the best for you.. I guess it's silly to talk to you on here. But, I feel better than talking to myself. :)

Kids are good. Casey got on some hyper meds finally. Elaina broke her collar bone but its healing. They had A HUGE CHRISTMAS. Wasn't the same without you around for anyone! Casey brings you up a lot and took it hard. He's kinda okay sometimes and sometimes not.

Brett I'm in tears and don't know what to do... I never ever thought I'd live in a world where you didn't. And I know we barely spoke the last few months of your life but Brett you mean more to me than you ever knew. My first real love. I dated you since I was 15!! We had some good times! I'm gonna visit you tomorrow at the funeral home. And I hope you're watching over me Brett. I need you to watch over us! The kids need it too.

I am so sorry this happened and I know you're in a better place but I wish I could have made HERE a better place for you! Always been a wish of mine. I'm getting sappy and people read this so I'm gonna go! I can't wait to see you again Bretthew! ;)

Love always,
Your highschool sweetheart plus some! ;)

Matt, Francis, & Family:
We extend our deepest sympathy to all of you during this time of loss. Words cannot begin to express to you how sorry we are for your loss. Just remember God is in control of all things and sometimes we do not understand why things like this happen but God said in His Word that He would not leave us comfortless. He sent the Holy Spirit to be your comforter.. Our prayers are with you and we are sorry that we did not get to make the wake or the funeral.

In Christ,

I'm not really sure where to start but Brett you will be missed by so many people too many to name. You and your parents always made our trip down for Mardi Gras a total blast. When the Arkansas group came you literally moved out of your room to make space for us and we all truly appreciated you more than you know. You were always willing to help us and take us out show us the town you loved life to the fullest and I will miss you. I send out my best wishes to the family. We never lose the person we love their memory remains forever in our heart. May loving memories heal the families pain and help you all find peace. R.I.P. my friend. Where do I even start? Brett and I had our struggles. We butted heads time and time again. But I always had such a soft spot in my heart for him. I think that was because I saw the good in him. I saw a very polite young man. I saw someone who would do anything for you. I saw a hard worker. Brett had his problems and faults, like we all do. But he had many good qualities. I have such a heavy heart for what could have been. Brett, I promise we will take such great care of Kinzie and we'll always keep your memory in her heart. You'll be missed much more than you would have ever realized. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire McCoy family. May you rest in peace, Brett.
