Della Bowen Gregory, 96, a resident of Zachary, LA, and a native of Plymouth, NC, died at her home on Friday, December 28, 2012. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m., conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes and assisted by Rev. Bob Wojohn. Burial will be at Azalea Rest Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters: Elaine Freck of Vienna, VA; and Mary Lynn Branton and her husband Chuck Branton of Cotton Valley, LA; one son: Alan Gregory and his wife Mitzy Burk Gregory of Zachary; six grandchildren: Chris Freck, Brian Freck, Ben Gregory, Shawn Gregory, Clint Branton and Katherine Reine; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnum "Bink" Gregory, and her son-in-law, Larry Freck. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
