H. Frank Foster III passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the age of 87. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Shirley Cunningham Foster; children Donna F. Thompson, Wendy F. Coulton (Warren), and Lawrence "Scooter" Foster; grandchildren Stephen Thomas (Cari), Kevin Thomas (Amanda), Bryan, Brandon, Lauren and Marie Gambina and Andrew "Drew" Foster; great-grandchildren Carson, Kallie and Sawyer Thomas; brother Dr. W.R. Foster. Frank served in the US Army Air Corp. during WWII. He then attended and graduated from LSU Law School. In 1951, Frank joined the law firm that would later be known as Bienvenu Foster Ryan and O'Bannon where he practiced until retirement. He was a member of IAIC and LADC. Frank was Past President of 3rd District Kiwanis Club as well as Past President of the Louisiana Golf Association. A private service was held.
