Thomas Cahill Coerver was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 9, 1923 to Helen Cahill Coerver and Joseph Frances Coerver. He graduated from Cleveland High School and Louisiana State University with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia McQuaid Coerver, and his son, Thomas C. Coerver, Jr. and his wife Esther. He is also survived by his sisters Rosemary Coerver, Ginnie Bolin and his brother, James Coerver and his wife Rosemary and his Sister-in-Law Robin Coerver. His nieces are Susan Creed, Jo Ann Mann, Helen Bolin, Beth Miller, Kay Hoffpauir, Ellen Tanner, Mary Ellen Seigler, Kristin Thompson and Claire Rome. His nephews are John Coerver, Randy Coerver, John Michael Bolin, Jerry Jolly, James W. Jolly, Michael McAfee, William McAfee and John McAfee. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Michael Coerver and John Coerver, sisters Mary Catherine McAfee and Margaret Jolly. Donations in his memory may be sent to St. Joseph Cathedral, St. George Catholic Church, St. Joseph Hospice, St. Vincent dePaul or Catholic High School. Service will be held at St. George Catholic Church on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 10:30 am with visitation beginning at 8:30 am. Entombment will be in the St. George Catholic Church Mausoleum.
