So sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. I had not seen him since the 20 year reunion, but I will always remember him with a friendly smile on his face.

Jimmy always had a big smile.
Istrouma 1970 would not have been the same. Keep God in your heart, grief is something you have to go through. You can't go under, over, or around it, you have to pray and go through it.

I'm very sorry to learn of Jimmy Odom's passing. I have known him and his family since the early 1980s. He might have even been a student of my Mom's as she was a teacher at Istrouma High when he was there. He was an honest car salesman. I remember one time he was showing us a Chevy Monza that was for sale on his lot. He would tell you what was right about the car and also what was wrong with it too. Gotta respect an honest car salesman. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Jimmy was a truly special person. Many years had passed since high school when I saw him again and he remembered me like it had been yesterday. He and his memory will remain forever in my heart as a very special friend and person.
