She passed away at her daughter's residence in Reserve at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012. She was a native and resident of Lutcher. She was 67. Visiting at New Zion Christian Center, Gramercy, Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. conducted by Elder Emil D. Mitchell, Sr. Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Convent. Survived by two daughters, Rosalind (Leroy) Davis Smith and Michelle Davis; two sons, Michael and Morris, Jr. (Patricia) Davis; four sisters, Betty (Raymond) Stevens, Ruth Helen Riley, Geraldine (Andrew) Raphael and Gloria (James) Wallace; two brothers, George West and David Williams; a sister-in-law, Margaret Givens; 18 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Shedrick Givens, Sr. and Leola West Givens Johnson; her husband, Morris Davis, Sr.; a daughter, Stephanie Davis; three sisters and two brothers.
