Richard Edward "Ric" Sprague a loving husband, father, and grandfather ("Ric Ric"), 74 year-old Richard Edward "Ric" Sprague, of Denham Springs, LA, peacefully passed at his home, surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, January 14, 2013. A Purple Heart recipient and decorated Vietnam veteran, Ric served as a Staff Sergeant in The United States Army from 1955-1976. He was also a lifetime member of VFW. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Williams-Sprague, son, James Whitfield "Whit" Williams and wife Lindsey, and granddaughter, Ella Katherine Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Helen Sprague. A celebration of his life will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM until memorial service at 3:00 PM. For more information, please visit www.sealefuneral.com. An avid fisherman, Ric also enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Wounded Warriors, American Cancer Society, or Hospice of Baton Rouge.
