It seems like only yesterday I was sitting in the back seat of his Ford Stationwagon, with Gus and Kenneth, on the way to Alligator Bayou. He would tell us along the way what we should do and how we should do things. He was shaping us up for decisions we would have to make for daily and future results. He was a kind, wise and understanding person to me. I will not forget the time I spent with him or the kindness he shared. Jeanine & Kenneth, I pray for your healing from his loss and love you both.

I want to thank you all so much for remembering my father. He was a lovely, sweet, brilliant man that wanted only the best for everyone he met. While he lived a long life, it was still way to short for me.

I was saddened when I heard of Mr.Gus' passing. I smile even now as I'm remembering him collecting recipes out of magazines and he would sometimes share them with me.

My deepest sysmpathies to the Cranow Family. I worked with Gus in the 1980's when I was in St. James Parish and he was with the State Office of Emerg. Prep. I learned a lot from Gus and considered him a dear friend.
He was absolutely a great person.
